I’ve been in SBR for 3 years now. It started in 6th grade then the 8th and 9th. I must say, my journey in SBR had been quite interesting. I had some bad times and definitely some good times. I remembered the first day of school in 6th grade. I couldn’t speak English that well so it was kind of hard for me to have a conversation with my 6th grade classmates. But they were all so nice to me. I remembered in the first weeks of 6th grade, Shelley was the one that accompanied me all the time. She became my first friend. I remembered when she asked me when was my birthday and when I told her it was in July and had already passed, she gave me a little dog toy at the end of the day as a birthday/welcoming present. I started to make more friends, like Stephanie, Imelda, Marcelle, and Fahad. My years in SBR have been totally MEMORABLE!
Thank you for all the teachers who’ve taught me with such patience and understanding.
Thank you for all my best friends for being there for me when I need you guys.
Thank you for all the 9th graders!! You guys ROCK!!!! Y’all are great friends!
